PSPP Kozjak will make a significant contribution to:

By being included on the PCI list, the project is recognised as part of Europe’s future energy backbone, positioning Slovenia alongside countries investing in modern, flexible and sustainable energy solutions.

“The inclusion of the PSPP Kozjak project on the PCI list is an exceptional recognition of our professional work and a clear signal that Slovenia plays an important role in the development of Europe’s modern energy infrastructure. This status will accelerate project development and further strengthen our commitment to delivering the project transparently, professionally and in close dialogue with the local community,” emphasised Sandi Ritlop, Project Manager of PSH Kozjak at DEM.

Moving forward on the path to the green transition

PSH Kozjak remains one of the key development projects for the long-term stability of Slovenia’s power system. Its inclusion among Europe’s Projects of Common Interest confirms that the project is not only important for Slovenia, but also for the broader European energy landscape.

We are proud that, through the PSPP Kozjak project, Slovenia has been recognised as an important contributor to Europe’s future energy network.
